Hop on the Bus – Say NO to the Stadium!
Join your local Greens MP Cecily Rosol on Saturday 10 May for the No New Stadium Rally on the lawns of Parliament House in Hobart.
A wheelchair accessible shuttle bus will be departing from 8 Willis Street, Launceston. Please arrive by 7:00am for a 7:30am sharp departure. We'll head back north at 1:30pm and hopefully arrive home around 3:00pm.
Tickets are $30, cash only. If the cost is a barrier, we’re happy to subsidise or cover it—just get in touch.

We don't need this stadium. It will desecrate the Cenotaph, sideline palawa voices, and obliterate heritage. It’s bad economic and public policy, with inevitable cost blowouts.
The project is rooted in secrecy and an abuse of power. It’s being demanded by the AFL, driven by the gambling lobby, and designed to turn public land and public funds into private profit.
