Lake Macquarie Greens New Member Meeting

The Lake Macquarie Greens are organising a new member meet up.

David Shoebridge, Abigail Boyd and Siobhan Isherwood will talk about their work, how they engage with the upcoming State election, and how you can get involved. This is your chance to hear some of our parliamentarians directly and meet them close up, and to get to know some of the local Greens members. 

We will also introduce the structure of the NSW Greens, our four pillars and how you can get involved with policy development. And afterwards we will have some fun with a social game of barefoot bowls.

The meeting starts at 3 pm on 1 November 2026 and the formal part finishes at 5pm. You can join us for a game of barefoot bowls from 5 pm onwards, and some of us will stay for dinner.

The event is free (choose the free ticket option), but you can support us by purchasing a $10 or $20 ticket.

Club Charlestown is fully wheelchair accessible.

Please contact the event organiser with any particular accessibility requests as early as possible so that suitable arrangements can be discussed and organised where possible. 

Bookings for paid events and donations are tax-deductible.

If you are under 18 years of age, please ask your parent or guardian to purchase the ticket in their name. The Greens NSW are prohibited from accepting donations or payments from under 18s. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will also need to contact the event organiser directly to let them know there will be someone under 18 attending.
