Building a shared Greens vision with Samantha Ratnam

Building a shared Greens vision on the role of government and the economy

What should the role of the ‘state’ be in Australian political life?

Based on our charter for a democratic, ecological, egalitarian and peaceful Australia, what is our theory of the economy and how it should work for people and our planet?

These questions are becoming even more urgent as the cost of living rises and faith in politics declines.

You are invited to an online webinar workshop to help us build a shared Greens vision of the role of government and the economy. This discussion is part of a national consultation (auspiced by AG National Council) to develop a Greens Governing Philosophy that will strengthen our campaigning, communications and community engagement.

We'll discuss what we have heard from the national consultation so far and we want to hear your thoughts and ideas. It will be an interactive workshop where you’ll get to share your views on these important questions.

Please note that this is a members only forum.

Once you register you will receive a discussion paper that we ask you to read before the workshop.
