Join Lake Macquarie Greens members and supporters to hear about our State campaign to address the housing crisis in NSW, learn how other groups have tackled the housing crisis, and help shape our own local housing campaign.
The Lake Macquarie Greens are organising a housing forum for their members and supporters.
Jenny Leong MP will talk about the housing crisis in NSW and what The Greens NSW propose to do about it. Greens Councillors from different parts of NSW will speak about what they have achieved in their Council and how they got there. And James Ryan will moderate a discussion to develop our own priorities for the State and local campaign and to identify the next steps we can take together.
The Forum starts at 1pm on 1 August 2026 and finishes at 4pm. You can join us for an informal lunch with Jenny Leong from 11:30am to 12:30pm at Club Macquarie's Bistro 458.
The event is free (choose the free ticket option), but you can support us by purchasing a $10 or $20 ticket.
This event is fully wheelchair accessible.
Please contact the event organiser with any accessibility requests as early as possible so that suitable arrangements can be discussed and organised where possible.
Bookings for paid events and donations are tax-deductible.
If you are under 18 years of age, please ask your parent or guardian to purchase the ticket in their name. The Greens NSW are prohibited from accepting donations or payments from under 18s. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will also need to contact the event organiser directly to let them know there will be someone under 18 attending.
