On Tuesday July 7th we're hosting a Politics in the Pub with visiting Senator Penny Allman-Payne, Fight the Crisis member and AEU Vic Branch Councillor Lucy Honan, and Local teacher, union member and volunteer Melissa Brown to discuss Victorian public school teacher industrial action.
Join us in Fitzroy to discuss what's next, and hear from Penny about the Australian Greens are fighting for public schools nationally. We will also be joined by candidate for Brunswick Adam Pulford, and candidate for Pascoe Vale Angelica Panopoulous as they share how they're taking the fight for better pay, working conditions, and increased public school funding to the Victorian parliament this state election.
Penny Allman-Payne is a Queensland Greens Senator, former public school teacher and unionist, known for her advocacy on social justice issues including aged care and social services reform. She serves as the Australian Greens’ spokesperson for Primary and Secondary Education, Social Services, Older People, Transition, Regional Development & Northern Australia, and Sport.
