You will be learning from two incredible people:
Tanita Murray is a Māori born women who will share the cultural significance of flax, the stories held in each strand and the teachings woven through Māori fibre practices.
Paula Harrison was born and raised on Gunaikurnai Country, bringing local knowledge, cultural grounding, and the weaving traditions of this place.
There'll be nibbles, good company, and a whole lot of heart. A space to slow down, learn something beautiful, and be a part of a community that cares.
