The governance working group (GWG) has been tasked with preparing proposals for reform of our constitution and by-laws to ensure the party governance is up to date and fit for purpose.

Party governance reform must include consultation meetings with members to debate and improve the proposals. 

The next of these meetings is scheduled for 6-8pm Thursday 11 June 2026 at the party office at 99 Northbourne Avenue, Turner (and via Zoom) when we'll be discussing:

  • Assembly Arrangements Working Group rules

    • constitution C31A

    • by-laws Part 17, s93-97

In preparation for participation, please review the summary document which contains links to the amended constitution and by-laws.
