65,000+ eligible households are languishing on the public housing wait list.

Join the Blacktown Greens for a chat about our campaign to fix the housing crisis, followed by some campaigning around the Boomerang Place shops, the train station & shopping center.

The NSW Labor Government has broken its promise to end the privatisation agenda and is selling off public homes by selling off public land identified through a public land audit that was meant to find sites for new housing – with no requirements for housing to be delivered on it.

Building more public housing on public land needs to be a top priority, alongside ending tax concessions for landlords, regulating rents, and building genuinely affordable housing. The last thing the government should be doing is demolishing or selling public homes we already have.

Flyering is one of the simplest and most effective ways to spread our message. By handing out flyers and chatting with people in Seven Hills, we can reach hundreds of community members in just a short time. Every flyer we hand out helps grow our movement and fix the housing crisis.

If you have not done flyering before that’s okay! We will run a quick briefing at the start and make sure you feel comfortable. You can choose whether you’d like to mainly hand out flyers or also have short chats witwh people – either way, your help makes a big difference.

We will meet at Daadi's Seven Hills.

Please wear a Greens shirt or badge if you have one, as well as bringing something for sun safety and wet weather.

We will have a debrief and food/drinks afterwards at Daadi's, 57 Boomerang Place, Seven Hills
