We’re hosting a community banner and sign-making workshop in the lead-up to Invasion Day.
This is a family-friendly space to gather, reflect, and prepare messages of solidarity for January 26. Bring your friends and neighbours and join us for a slow, thoughtful painting session.
The workshop will be facilitated by Western Metro Candidate Brittney Henderson, a proud Wiradjuri Bunurong person, and will focus on creating banners and signs to carry into public action with care and respect.
We’ll provide paint and cardboard for individual signs, and there will also be an opportunity to contribute to a shared group banner. We expect to have enough materials for everyone, and you’re also welcome to bring your own.
